Hello,
My name is Rachael Muresan. I hope to satisfy any questions regarding my suitability as a tenant.
I hold dual EU citizenship, and while I do not drink, party, or smoke, I am very social and active in many interests, from the arts to volunteering at the local animal shelter. I graduated from an international boarding school in Washington, DC. I spent my time in student government as class president, playing volleyball, tending my little indoor garden and hobbies such as skiing, ice skating, writing, and drawing.
As someone who grew up in a middle-class, multilingual, and adventure-orientated household, studying abroad for university was one of my highest priorities. I chose to study in the Netherlands because of my lifelong interests in international politics and leadership, as well as being my favorite country in my numerous travels to Europe.
I am confident in my decision to live abroad and enjoy a successful university experience at VU.
I intend to work (I have an EU passport). I value being financially responsible, tidy, and independent. As a working student in Washington, DC, I am used to being self-sufficient, living on my own–preparing meals, laundry, and cleaning, and using public transportation extensively, having lived in a major metropolitan city.
