Even though I am a student, i am not interested in partying, and much rather prefer a good, deep conversation. I would describe myself as the more quiet, reserved type who instead of going out, likes to stay in and read a good book. I speak Latvian and English fluently and have a good grasp of German as well, which I am trying my best not to forget. I am occasionally able to guess the meaning of a couple sentences in French and Russian too, I hope, however, that by the end of my studies, I will speak a bit more than a few sentences in Dutch. I am beyond excited to start my bachelor’s studies at University of Amsterdam (Universiteit van Amsterdam) this September. I will be studying Political Science. Up till now my time apart from school was spent either fulfilling my passion for dancing, reading or traveling, as it is my goal to see and experience as much of the world as possible. I feel my best in nature, especially by the sea, though there is no denying that I enjoy the bustling city just as much.
